"When women get together as a group, it's immensely powerful."
-Annie Lennox
While you're working on your business, do you find it difficult to talk to friends or your significant other about it because they just don't "get it"?
When you find another successful entrepreneur, do you feel like you could talk to her for hours? Do you feel the energy of that meeting for weeks afterwards?
Now imagine having a supportive tribe that will always be there for you, help to answer your questions, understand this crazy entrepreneurial roller coaster, and offer you a shoulder to cry on when the obstacles get too much to bear.
Being an entrepreneur is not easy, but when you have the encouragement of a supportive community, it can mean the difference of being wildly successful, or giving it all up for good.
"I've always believed that one woman's success can only help another woman's success."
-Gloria Vanderbilt
Women do not believe they possess adequate entrepreneurial skills as much as men do. Only 39% of women think they are capable of running their businesses, compared to 55% of men. There is no real difference between skill sets, women owned businesses statistics show, but it is only a matter of perception and confidence.
Starting a business is always a risky endeavor and many feel uncertain about what the future holds. The numbers show that 21% of women are not very confident when it comes to their business performance, as stated by the US Small Business Administration. Performance is commonly based on the level of financial development. The women entrepreneurs statistics show that women are less optimistic when it comes to sales growth, the number of employees, and earnings per share than their male counterparts.
The “capital” here stands for money, but also for management training and human resources. That can also be one of the reasons why women do not have enough confidence to start their own business. Studies reveal that women doubt their decisions more often and are more prone to self-criticism, but the real problem between women and entrepreneurship can be how well-prepared for the business they think they are.
You are in business for yourself but you are not in business BY yourself. When you join The Cyber Squad Collective, you'll have a tribe of sisters who know what you are going through. You can go to your tribe for encouragement, suggestions, accountability, assistance, advice, or to help you celebrate an amazing achievement! We are your ride or die whether you
fail or fly.
It's been said that you are most like the 5 people that you surround yourself with most of the time. Why not spend that time with people who want to see you succeed?
The Cyber Squad Collective isn't just a supportive group of women entrepreneurs, we are also your biggest cheerleaders. We believe in you and your business and we know how important it is to you. We understand the frustrations of owning a business.
No drama, no judgement, and no negativity. Isn't there enough of that in the world already? The Cyber Squad Community strives to be a safe space where you can safely express your concerns and not be judged or ridiculed. And of course we encourage some time to let loose and have a little fun! All work and no play makes Sally a very dull girl!
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM
THE CYBER SQUAD COLLECTIVE:
Being a solo entrepreneur means that nobody is holding your feet to the fire to get things done. Let's change that. We'll hold regular Get Sh*t Done Days that will keep you accountable and give you the most productive day you've ever had.
When one teaches, two learn. Use this opportunity to work on your pitch or proposal in a safe and supportive space. We will give you valuable feedback and you'll gain clarity on your message along with unlimited support and encouragement.
Join our family and connect with like-minded and powerful entrepreneurs just like you. This is an amazing opportunity to make connections and even collaborate with one another.
Do you have an issue you need to discuss? Let us know and we will listen to you as a group and help you come up with the best solution for you. When we get bigger, we can split out in smaller groups and have many round table discussions at once.
Learn from the experts! We will have one guest speaker per month on various topics. These meetings will be recorded so if you can't make it, you can always access the replay. Are you an expert on a topic? Feel free to be a guest!
We know you are probably in a thousand Facebook groups by now but this one is different because we are family! Between virtual meetings, we can hang out on Facebook and chat until it's time to meet up again.
If you are a female service-based entrepreneur, this group is perfect for you! Coaches, trainers, assistants, consultants, freelancers, designers, media managers, financial specialists, or marketing experts are welcome....and I'm sure I'm missing someone! Basically, if you are creating your own brand in an effort to help others and hustling hard doing all the things, this is for you! If you are in a franchise, in an MLM, or are an independent agent for a company this group probably won't work for you as you are most likely limited by certain restrictions and guidelines for your company.
We will strive to meet 3-4 times a month, and maybe more smaller groups will meet when necessary. This group is for YOU, so if you have a need to practice your proposal or your presentation in front of a supportive group for feedback, let us know and we'll make it happen for you! At the minimum, we will have 1 general meeting with potential small group breakout, 1 GSD (get sh*t done) Day, and 1 guest speaker event. We may eventually add in a book club if there is enough interest.
First, you'll schedule a quick 30-minute meeting with one of the Founding Members. We'll talk about you and your business and what you are hoping to get out of the Collective. Then we'll send you a link to sign up and you're now officially a member of The Cyber Squad Collective! You'll receive access to the membership site where we'll share the schedule of the meetings, recordings of past meetings, and anything else that we find valuable to share in the future. We will also give you access to the private Facebook group so you can introduce yourself to the rest of the group!
The safety of this group is of UTMOST importance to me. While it's NOT an interview or a "try-out" or an "audition", I do want to make sure that everyone who applies is who they say they are and will get what they are looking for out of their membership. It's a protection for both the group and for the applicant. We have no room for drama and negativity, so I will also make sure that those expectations are understood. The chain is only as strong as the weakest link and I want to make sure that this is an iron-clad, unbreakable chain!

Kathy Svetina is the founder of NewCastle Finance, a company offering Fractional CFO services to women-owned businesses. For nearly 14 years she did senior-level financial planning and analysis for Fortune 500 companies. She started NewCastle Finance because she wanted to offer those same powerful financial insights to small businesses. She helps women business owners get clear on their numbers and their financial strategy so they feel confident they are making good decisions that result in a thriving business.
